Ingredients
- 1 gallon fresh tomato
- 1 quart vinegar
- 1 quart sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon red pepper
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon salt
Directions
- crush tomatoes through a colander.
- combine all ingriedients in a large pan.
- simmer and stir frequently until desired thickness.
