- Toast 10 slices of bread, break up into small pieces and pour hot water over to soften bread.
- Add the 2 eggs beaten and chopped onion.
- add sugar, and sage.
- mix with your hands (or spoon if you prefer).
- add salt and pepper.
- mix well and stuff in bird or if cooking alone wrap in foil and put in pan.
- bake at 325-350 for appx one hour to one hour and a half. (depending on how your oven works.).
