Homemade Soup

Serves: 6-8
Ingredients
- 1 beef bones or 1 ham bone
- 3 quarts water
- 1⁄2 cup pearl barley
- 2 medium chopped carrots
- 1 medium chopped potato
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 cup cut up celery
- 1 cup cut up turnip
- 1⁄2 cup Minute Rice
Directions
- Combine first 3 ingredients and boil gently for 1 1/2 hours.
- Add vegetables and simmer for 1/2 hour more.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
