Homemade Non-Petroleum Jelly (Aka DIY "Vaseline")

As it is a petroleum by product I want to avoid using commercial petroleum jelly (Vaseline). Found this recipe on http://www.onegoodthingbyjillee.com/2012/04/make-your-own-petroleum-free-jelly.html. Thank you Jillee!!

• Ready In: 15 mins
• Yields: 1 1/2 pint jar

Ingredients

• 1⁄8 cup  grated  beeswax or 1  ounce  grated  beeswax
• 1⁄2 cup olive oil

Directions

1. Combine beeswax and oil in a small saucepan.
2. Melt over very low heat or in the top of a double boiler.
3. Pour into a jar to cool.
4. Cools in about 30 minutes.
