Serves: 12-16
Yields: 12-16 Bars
Ingredients
- 4 1⁄2 cups oats (oatmeal, old-fashioned style)
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3⁄4 cup butter, Melted
- 3⁄4 cup honey
- 1⁄3 cup brown sugar, Packed
- 1 cup chocolate chips (mini if desired)
- 1 cup raisins
Directions
- Lightly grease a 9x13 pan. In a large bowl combine all ingredients except chocolate chips and raisins. Once ingredients are mixed, gently fold in chocolate chips and raisins.
- Pour and press mixture into pan (use a sheet of wax paper to press down granola, so it does not stick. Lightly grease if needed). Bake 18-22 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes and cut. Cool completely before removing from pan.
- Wrap individually. Can be frozen if desired.
- *Add what you like -- coconut, nuts, sunflower seeds, etc to make it your own. You can also reduce the oatmeal and add other cereal, etc.
