Homemade Flour Tortillas

Serves: 6-7
Yields: 6-7 tortillas
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon shortening
- 1⁄3 cup warm milk
- butter (to taste)
Directions
- Mix all ingredients except butter and milk.
- Slowly add milk.
- Knead.
- Form 6 or 7 balls, then roll or pat flat. (The thickness is up to you).
- Cook in ungreased skillet. (Be sure to watch so they don't burn and flip them regularly).
- Butter to taste and enjoy!
