Hot Buttery Yeast Rolls

  1. Scald ¾ cup of milk and cool to lukewarm.
  2. Dissolve yeast in ¼ cup of hot water (110 to 115 degrees) in large mixing bowl, let stand 5 minutes.
  3. Mix remaining ingredients and beat well with mixer.
  4. Oil a large bowl, turn so both sides are oiled, cover with wax paper till doubled in size.
  5. Punch down, form into rolls on greased cookie sheet and let rise until double in size.
  6. Bake in preheated 400 degree F oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
  7. Brush tops with butter or margarine.
  8. Prep time is in the rising.
  9. If using bread machine follow mfg instructions.
