Homemade Devonshire Cream

I found this recipe years ago in a newspaper. It's a great substitute for the real thing. In fact, I prefer it, because it's sweeter. This is great with scones and a little jam or preserves on top. Perfect for afternoon teas or brunches. Show more

  1. In small bowl, use your electric mixer to beat the cream cheese until fluffy.
  2. Beat in the sour cream and confectioners sugar until well mixed.
  3. Spoon into serving bowl and chill until serving time.
