Homemade Chili

Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 large onion (Chopped)
- 2 (14 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
- 1 (15 1/2ounce) can kidney beans (Rinsed and Drained)
- 1 (15 1/2ounce) can black beans (Rinsed and Drained)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 (7 ounce) can green chilies
- 1 (26 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 11 g chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
Directions
- Chop onion fine and in a large pot saute with the Oil.
- Wait until the onion is starting to turn clear then add the hamburg.
- Stir the hamburg and oinions until hamburg is browned.
- While cooking the hamburger add salt, garlic powder, chili powder, italian seasoning, paprika, and brown sugar.
- After hamburg is brown add the other ingrdients stirring each into the pot before the next.
- Bring to a boil then turn heat to low and simmer for 2 hours.
- Stir often so it doesn't burn on the bottom.
- Serve with shredded cheese and/or sour cream on top.
