Directions

  1. Melt butter; add brown sugar and salt, mixing well.
  2. Stir in corn syrup.
  3. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly.
  4. Cook and stir over medium heat until candy reaches firm ball stage (245 degrees).
  5. This will take 12-15 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  7. Pour into greased 9x13 pan.
  8. Let cool.
  9. Cut into 48 pieces with a sharp knife.
