Homemade Apple Butter Bars

Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3⁄4 cup butter, softened
- 1 1⁄2 cups quick-cooking oats, uncooked
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1⁄2 cups apple butter
Directions
- Mix the first 7 ingredients together until crumbly.
- Spread half the mixture into a lightly greased 13x9 inch pan.
- Spread apple butter on top.
- Cover with remaining crumb mixture.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes; cool and cut into squares.
