Yields: 8 cups

Ingredients

  • 2 (14 1/2ounce) cans  del monte diced tomatoes with zesty green chilies
  • 6  medium  canned jalapeno slices, chopped
  • 12 cup yellow onion, diced
  • 8  teaspoons green chilies, chopped canned
  • 29  ounces  hunt's whole peeled plum tomatoes
  • 1  teaspoon  garlic salt
  • 1  teaspoon cumin
  • 12 teaspoon sugar

Directions

  1. 1 In a food blender place jalapenos and onions.
  2. 2 Prossess for just a few seconds.
  3. 3 Add tomatoes, salt, sugar, and cumin.
  4. 4 Process al ingredients until well blended, but do not puree.
  5. 5 Place in covered container and chill.
  6. 6 A couple of hours of chilling will help blend and enrich the flavor.
