Everyday home made chili, prepared in a slow cooker.

  1. Place cooked meat in a colander and rinse off the fat with very hot tap water.
  2. In one tablespoon of hot oil, cook frozen onions until transparent, or browned if you prefer.
  3. In the slow cooker, place the ground beef, onions, tomatoes, and chili seasoning.
  4. Stir well and cook on low for at least 4 hours.
  5. Taste, add salt or hot sauce, etc to taste.
  6. Add the beans, cook about 30 additional minutes.
  7. Serve with saltines or cornbread.
