Home Made Buttercream Frosting

This recipe has been in my family of bakers since I tried it as a child. It has made me the designated Santa cookie maker.

• Yields: 1 cake

Ingredients

• 1  cup milk
• 16  ounces powdered sugar
• 1⁄2 cup  softened butter
•  food coloring (optional)

Directions

1. Put milk, butter, and powdered sugar in a large bowl.
2. Mix with a beater until desired consistency is reached.
3. Add food coloring if you want to and mix it inches.
