" Home-Churned" Butter

Ingredients
- 2 1⁄2 lbs butter
- 1⁄2 tablespoon salt
- 2 cups buttermilk
Directions
- Allow 2 1/2 lbs. butter to come to room temperature for about 1-2 hours.
- Beat with electric mixer, adding 1/2 T. salt, 2 cups buttermilk until light and fluffy.
- Keep refrigerated in a covered container.
