Directions

  1. Combine sugar and the water in a 8 quart kettle.
  2. Stir till sugar is dissolved.
  3. Heat mixture to boiling. Boil 5 minutes.
  4. Add the 12 cups of cranberries.
  5. Cook until skins pop, about 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Pack into hot jars leaving a 1/2 inch head space.
  8. Adjust the lids.
  9. Process in water bath for 5 minutes.
