Holiday Meat Pies

Yields: 4 pies
Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 lb pork sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1⁄2 teaspoon red pepper
- salt & pepper
- 8 refrigerated pie crusts
Directions
- Brown meats together, drain grease; set aside.
- Add onion to pan and cook until soft.
- Add rest of ingredients except crusts; cook 5 minutes.
- Let cool slightly.
- Add to pie crusts and top with second crust; flute edges.
- Pierce a hole in center.
- Bake at 400° until brown.
