Holiday Jumbos

This recipe came in an email this morning from the www.bettycrocker.com website. "Need a treat to leave for Santa? Make jumbo cookies with the ease of using cookie mix."

• Yields: 3 dozen cookies

Ingredients

• 1 (1 lb) bag  chocolate chip cookie mix, Betty Crocker brand recommended
• 1 (1 lb) bag  peanut butter cookie mix, Betty Crocker brand recommended
• 1 1⁄2 cups quick-cooking oats
• 1  cup butter, softened (softened) or 1  cup margarine (softened)
• 3  eggs
• 2  cups  M&M's plain chocolate candy (red and green M&M's)

Directions

1. Heat oven to 375°F In large bowl, stir all ingredients except candies until soft dough forms. Stir in candies.
2. On ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough by 2 heaping tablespoonfuls for each cookie, placing about 2 inches apart.
3. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely. Store in covered container at room temperature.
