Hoisin Sauce Homemade Version

Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 -4 tablespoons black bean paste
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
- 1⁄8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1⁄8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 -2 teaspoon sweet chili sauce
- 2 teaspoons starch, dissolved in
- 1 tablespoon water
Directions
- Mix the first 9 ingredients, getting the mix to even consitency.
- Heat the mixture up on medium hit and slowly add the starch/water mixture, stirring the sauce constantly.
- Take off the heat, continue stirring until thickens, use a sieve to get rid of black bean pieces or starch lumps.
