Ingredients
- 7 lbs Heinz ketchup
- 1⁄2 lb granulated honey
- 1⁄2 lb turbinado sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon imitation butter
- 4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon dried chipotle powder
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
- 2 tablespoons fresh coarse ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon celery seed
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 ounces lager beer
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a large, non-reactive stock pot. Simmer over low heat for 2-hrs or until proper thickness has been achieved. Should coat the back of a spoon without running off of it.
- ladle into pint sized mason jars with seal ring lids. follow canning instructions for sealing properly.
