Hog Heaven Chili

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1⁄2 lb hot pork sausage
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 (10 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 (10 ounce) can tomatoes and green chilies
- 16 ounces stewed tomatoes
- 1 (16 ounce) can pinto beans
- 2 (16 ounce) cans kidney beans
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1⁄2 tablespoon cumin
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1 dash pepper
- 4 cups water
Directions
- Brown beef, sausage, onion and garlic.
- Drain.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- (I like to rinse the beans).
- Bring to a boil.
- Lower heat and simmer 3 hours.
- Add more water if needed.
- This is good topped with shredded cheddar cheese.
