Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the cheddar, cream cheese, parsley, and 1 t. of the mustard; set aside.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium.Coat the grill with a light spray of cooking spray before preheating.
  3. Mix the ground beef, green onions, bread crumbs, catsup, salt, rosemary, sage, and the remaining 2 t. of mustard in a large bowl until blended.
  4. Shape the beef mixture into 4 balls.
  5. Divide the reserved cheese mixture into fourths.
  6. Push one-fourth of the cheese mixture into the center of each ball by making an indentation in each hamburger ball and pressing the cheese mixture into the center. Bring the meat together over the cheese and pat it into an even layer to seal in the cheese. Flatten each ball into a burger shape.
  7. Grill the burgers, covered, turning occasionally, for 10 minutes or until cooked through.
  8. Grill the rolls, cut side down, for 30 seconds to lightly toast.
  9. Place the rolls on four plates, top with the burgers, sliced onion, tomato slices, and lettuce leaves and serve.
