Herb Chicken Marinade

A great marinade to use for grilling or roasting chicken.

• Yields: 1 1/2 cups

Ingredients

• 6  garlic cloves
• 2  sprigs rosemary (or about 1 teaspoon dried)
• 4  sprigs thyme (or 4 teaspoons dried)
• 2  bay leaves
• 1  lemon, quartered and seeded
• 1  tablespoon coarse black pepper
• 2  tablespoons kosher salt
• 2  tablespoons sugar
• 2  cups  vegetable oil
• 1  lb boneless skinless chicken breast

Directions

1. Add the first 9 ingredients to a blender and pulse until any solids are fine bits.
2. Add chicken to a plastic bag, pour marinade over chicken.
3. Marinate at least 3 hours.
