Herb-Baked Scallops

Ingredients
- 1 lb bay scallops (frozen and thawed OR fresh) or 1 lb sea scallops (frozen and thawed OR fresh)
- 1⁄4 cup butter or 1⁄4 cup margarine
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- ground black pepper, to taste
Directions
- Put butter and seasonings in 13 x 9 baking pan and put prepared pan in oven; heat to 350 degrees (F).
- Rinse scallops in cold water; pat dry.
- Remove pan from oven; stir to combine melted butter and seasonings.
- Add scallops; toss in butter mixture.
- Return pan to oven; bake 15-25 minutes, stirring every 5-7 minutes to coat scallops with butter mixture.
