Hellish Relish

  1. Place all ingredients in a large pan. Bring to a boil. Stir often.
  2. Wait until jalapenos change color, but are still srunch.
  3. Pour hot mixture into hot sterilzed jars. (Al;so read your jar manufacture's instructions.).
  4. Wipe e away any spills on the jar rims with paper towels moistened with sterlize water. (A wide mouth funnel is very helpful filling the jars).
  5. Apply lids and rings. Process for 10 minutes in boiling water bath, then tighten the rings and check for proper sealing.
  6. Store in a cool dark place.
  7. Note: use disposable gloves while handling jalapenos and be sure to not get any in your eyes. This recipe makes 2 pints with a little left over.
