Hearty Vegetable Soup

Ingredients
- 3 cups beef broth
- 3 cups water
- 1⁄8 cup vegetable oil
- 1 package beef stew meat, quartered
- 2 medium yellow onions, sliced
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 1⁄2 large cabbage, chopped
- 2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 3 medium potatoes, diced
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- salt
- course black pepper
Directions
- In A Soup Pot Heat The Oil, Add The Stew Meat, Garlic, Onions, Salt& Course Pepper.
- Cook On Medium Heat Until Browned, Approximately 6 Minutes.
- Stir In Beef Broth, Water, Carrots, Reduce Heat& Simmer For 30.
- Add Mushrooms, Potatoes& Cabbage Simmer 30-40 Minutes Until Done.
- You Can Omit The Meat If You Choose To& Just Lightly Saute The Garlic& Onions.
