Hearty Turkey Chili

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lbs ground turkey
- 30 ounces tomato sauce
- 24 ounces V8 vegetable juice
- 1⁄2 cup onion, Chopped
- 1⁄2 cup celery, Chopped
- 1 cup green pepper, Chopped
- 1 cup mushroom, Chopped
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 small jalapeno, Chopped
- 14 ounces stewed tomatoes
- 1⁄2 cup wild rice, uncooked
- 2⁄3 cup brown sugar
- 14 ounces chili beans
- 1 ounce chili seasoning mix
Directions
- Brown the Ground turkey and drain well.
- Place all the other ingredients in a slow cooker, then add ground turkey.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on medium to cook more quickly.
- This can be frozen for up to 3 months.
