Hearty Sausage Cheesecake

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix flour and crushed tortilla chips together.
  3. Pour mixture in the springform pan.
  4. Add melted butter, mix and press into pan creating a crust.
  5. Bake for 7 minutes.
  6. When crust is done baking, allow to cool in freezer for 10 minutes.
  7. Spray sides of the pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  8. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  9. Mix Cream Cheese together with flour, in a mixer on medium speed.
  10. When flour is nicely incorporated, add egg, reduce speed to low.
  11. Saute sausage, peppers, onions, ketchup, garlic, and pepper together until sausage is fully cooked.
  12. Add mixture into cream cheese batter.
  13. Pour mixture into pan.
  14. Bake for 30-45 minutes, or until cake shakes VERY SLIGHTLY in the center.
  15. Let cool for 30 minutes, outside of oven.
  16. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  17. Enjoy,(optional)reheat slightly when serving.
