Ingredients
- 16 ounces of pardina lentils
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup chopped green pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 liters water
- 1 cup chopped carrot
- 1⁄2 teaspoon thyme
- 1⁄2 teaspoon bay leaf
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- salt
Directions
- Mix everything in a crock pot and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 hours.
