Hearty Corn and Potato Chowder

Ingredients
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups cubed potatoes
- 2 cups corn
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup sliced celery
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 3⁄4 cups milk, divided
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- salt and pepper
Directions
- Combine all ingredients except milk, cornstarch, salt and pepper in slow cooker; cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours, adding 1 1/4 cups milk during last 30 minutes.
- Stir in combined 1/2 cup milk and cornstarch, stirring 2-3 minutes; season to taste with salt and pepper.
