Healthy Turkey Sloppy Joes

This recipe has a nice soupy sauce with a tiny bit of a kick. Kids will love this healthy version.

  1. Remove seeds from jalapeno peppers and dice. Dice onion and bell peppers. Sauté onion, jalapenos and green pepper in EVO then set aside.
  2. Cook ground turkey crumbling into little pieces. Drain and return to pan. Add pepper and onion mixture you set aside.
  3. Over med-high heat add all of the remaining ingredients into the pan. Stir mixture and bring to a slight boil. Lower heat, cover and simmer on low for 5-10 min to fuse flavors.
  4. Serve on either sesame rolls or hamburger buns and top with low fat shredded cheddar.
  5. If you like it hot, throw in 1 more jalepeno pepper.
