Healthy Homemade Meatballs

This is a recipe my husband's mom makes. I have modified it to be lower calories than normal meatballs. Show more

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 1  onion, chopped
  • 2  slices  low-calorie bread, crumbled
  • 13 cup egg substitute
  • 1  lb  90% lean ground beef
  • 1  teaspoon  italian seasoning

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Form into balls.
  3. Place in large skillet and cook on medium heat covered for 15 minutes.
  4. Turn meatballs periodically to prevent burning.
