Healthy Chocolate Brownies

This may sound gross (its made with prune baby food) but believe me, you'll be surprised at how good they are. I like these better then normal brownies and these are healthy and the prune really keeps them moist and chewy. Best brownies ever! Show more

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine cocoa, flour and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Using a wooden spoon or electric mixer on low speed, blend together brown sugar, prunes, butter, egg whites and vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture and blend after each addition.
  3. Spray an 8x8 inch baking pan with non stick spray and pour batter into pan then spread evenly. Bake for 20-22 minutes until edges are dry to the touch but middle appears fudge like. Do not over bake or product will be dry.
  4. Remove from oven and let cool in pan before slicing.
  5. For maximum moistness, store squares in an airtight container.
