Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked beans
- 2⁄3 cup powdered milk
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 2⁄3 cup applesauce
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 egg whites, beaten
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1⁄2 cup molasses
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1⁄3 cup olive oil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup raisins
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground allspice
Directions
- Mash the beans into a paste consistency.
- Add the rest of the ingredients to the paste.
- Stir mixture thoroughly.
- Pour into 8 x 8 baking pan.
- Bake in a preheated 350 degrees oven for 40 minutes.

- The use of pears, or other fruit can be used to replace the applesauce.
