Healthier Honey Wheat Banana Bread

This banana bread has no oil or sugar so I feel better about letting my family eat it. My family loves it even though they are very picky on their banana breads! Show more

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9" x 5" loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix together applesauce and honey. Stir in eggs, banana's and vanilla.
  4. Stir banana mixture into flour and stir just until moistened.
  5. Add nuts if desired.
  6. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool bread in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto wire rack.
