Health Conscious Turkey Meatloaf

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2-2 lbs extra-lean ground turkey or 1 1⁄2-2 lbs ground beef
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves. chopped garlic
- 1⁄2 cup chopped sweet onion
- 1⁄2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1⁄2 cup finely chopped celery
- 1⁄2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup dried breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1 -2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- salt (to taste)
- black pepper (to taste)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Mix all ingredients, shape into a loaf, and place in a loaf pan.
- Bake for about one hour. Depending on the shape and thickness of the loaf, you may need to cook it slightly longer. The recommended center temperature for poultry is: 165 degrees F.
