Hattie Jo's Homemade Macaroni

Serves: 6-8
Ingredients
- 12 ounces elbow macaroni
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 1⁄2-3 tablespoons flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- pepper
- 3 cups milk
- 3 cups sharp cheddar cheese
Directions
- Melt butter in pan, mix flour, salt and pepper. Add to melted butter, pour in milk. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add 1 ½C cheese until melted. Put ½ Mac in casserole dish. Pour ½ cheese sauce and repeat layers, top with remaining cheese. Bake uncovered at 350* for 30 minutes.
