Hatfields & Mccoys Buttermilk Pie

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup margarine
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 3 tablespoons vanilla
Directions
- Melt margarine, granulated sugar and brown sugar together, stirring constantly until hot.
- Mix flour into butter/sugar mixture.
- Whip eggs into hot mixture one at a time.
- Mix in buttermilk and vanilla gradually.
- Pour into 9" unbaked piecrust; sprinkle with nutmeg.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 375 degrees and continue to bake for 35 minutes.
