Ingredients
- 2 cups brown rice
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup pine nuts
- 1 cup slivered almonds
- 2 teaspoons sea salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1⁄2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 3 1⁄2 cups water
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
- Brown nuts in olive oil; set aside.
- Brown ground beef in olive oil with spices.
- Add rice and water, lower heat, simmer until rice is done.
