Hamburgers With Caramelized Grape Tomato

Yields: 6 small burgers
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground round
- 1⁄3 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1⁄3 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 4 cups any small tomatoes, halved
- 1 garlic clove, minced
Directions
- Mix first 7 ingredients.
- Form into patties.
- Place in a frying pan with a tight fitting lid.
- Cover and cook on medium heat for about 15 minutes or until just done.
- Add tomato, and garlic.
- Cover and cook for another 10 minutes or until tomato starts to caramelize.
- Plate and serve.
