Hamburger Veggie Soup

Ingredients
- 1 lb hamburger, cooked
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup potato, diced
- 1 cup carrot, diced
- 1 cup cabbage, cut up
- 1 cup celery, cut up
- 4 cups tomatoes, cut up (fresh, frozen or canned)
- 1⁄4 cup rice
- 3 cups water
- 4 teaspoons salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon basil
- 1⁄4 teaspoon thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 pinch paprika
- 1 pinch garlic powder
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 pinch onion powder
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch dried oregano
- 1 pinch dried thyme
Directions
- Brown hamburger and onion. Drain. Combine all ingredients less the rice in a stock pot. Simmer for 2 hours. Add rice and simmer another hour.
