Ham Fried Rice

Easy fried rice you can make with leftovers

Yields: 4 cups

Ingredients

  • 1  egg
  • 1  tablespoon  vegetable oil
  • 6  slices ham, cubed
  • 14 cup  chopped onion
  • 2  green onions, chopped
  • 1  garlic clove, minced
  • 4  cups  cold cooked par-boiled rice
  • 2  tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1  teaspoon  toasted sesame oil

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a medium skilet.
  2. beat egg and cook scrambled in oil.
  3. set egg aside.
  4. add ham and onions to pan.
  5. cook for about 1 minute until onions are tender.
  6. add green onions and garlic and mix cooking only slighly
  7. add rice and soy sauce.
  8. stir until all the ingredients are mixed and rice is hot.
  9. add toasted sesame oil and mix again.
