Ham and Swiss Noodle Bake (Hsnb)

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 of a 1 lb. package wide egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1⁄2 cup chopped onion
- 1 (10 3/4ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1⁄2 cup sour cream
- 1 1⁄2 cups cubed cooked ham
- 1 cup shredded swiss cheese
- 1 (3 ounce) can French-fried onions
Directions
- Prepare noodles according to package directions: drain. In medium skillet, melt butter. Add onion; cook until tender. Blend in soup and sour cream. Add noodles, soup mixture, ham, cheese and onion mixture; mix well. Pour into lightly buttered 9-inch square baking dish. Cover. Bake in a 350 degree oven until hot, about 35 minutes. Uncover. Top with fried onions. Bake 5 minutes longer. Refrigerate leftovers.
