Ham and Broccoli Bake

Ingredients

  • 10  ounces  frozen chopped broccoli
  • 12  slices  white bread
  • 4  ounces  shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2  cups ham, diced and cooked
  • 2  teaspoons onions, finely grated
  • 6  eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3 12 cups milk
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon dry mustard
  •  pepper

Directions

  1. Grease 13x9" baking dish.
  2. Partially cook broccoli; drain well on paper towels.
  3. Cut each slice of bread with a donut/star cutter. Fit scraps into prepared baking dish.
  4. Layer cheese, broccoli and ham over bread scrapes. Sprinkle with grated onion. Arrange donuts/stars on top.
  5. In a large bowl combine eggs, milk, salt, pepper and mustard; pour over the bread.
  6. Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.
  7. Preheat oven to 325 and bake uncovered for 1 hour or until a knife would will come out clean.
  8. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
