  1. Saute and partly mash beans in hot oil. Add rice, cook until desired doneness, adding salsa and seasonings such as cumin, jalapenos, hot sauce, etc, to taste. A dollop of sour cream improves this tremendously, but be warned, it will cause your halo to tilt precariously! ;-).
