Ingredients
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 bell peppers, green bell, chopped
- 4 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 lb beef, cubed
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 6 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions
- Saute the onions and green peppers in the butter until the onions are transparent.
- Add the tomato paste and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Add the beef cubes and then add all of the other ingredients.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 1 1/2 hours.
- Serve hot alone or over potatoes or pasta.
