Ground Turkey and Hominy

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lbs ground turkey
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 (14 1/2ounce) cans tomatoes, diced and undrained
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground pepper
- 2 (15 1/2ounce) cans hominy, rinsed and drained
Directions
- Cook the turkey, onion and garlic in oil until meat is no longer pink.
- Drain.
- Stir in the tomatoes and seasonings and heat through.
- Add hominy and heat through.
