Ground Cilantro (coriander) Chutney

Yields: 3/4 cup
Ingredients
- 1 cup firmly packed fresh cilantro leaves
- 8 spring onions
- 2 fresh green chilies
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 80 ml lemon juice
- 40 ml water
Directions
- Seed and roughly chop the chillies.
- Crush the garlic with the salt.
- Place these and the remaining ingredients in a food processor or blender and work until smooth.
- Pack into a small dish, cover and chill until ready to use.
