Ground Beef Goulash

Yields: 1 pot goulash
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups thinly sliced onions
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- salt
- 1 green pepper, cut in strips
- 1⁄2 cup canned tomato sauce
- 3 beef bouillon cubes
- 3 medium potatoes, diced and cooked
- 1⁄2 cup sour cream
Directions
- Melt butter in large heavy kettle. Add onion and cook, stirring often, 10 minutes. Add meat, paprika, and 1 teaspoons salt and cook, stirring, until meat loses its red color. Add green pepper, tomato sauce, bouillon cubes and 1 cup water. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add potatoes and heat. Stir in sour cream. Add more salt if necassary.
