Grilled Shrimp With Orange-Chardonnay Mojo Glaze

Ingredients

  • 13 cup  fresh orange juice
  • 14 cup  mirrasou  Chardonnay wine
  • 1  lime, juice of
  • 1  lemon, juice of
  • 1  tablespoon  freshly chopped  jalapeno
  • 2  teaspoons  finely minced garlic
  • 3  tablespoons  chopped cilantro
  •  salt and pepper
  • Shrimp

  • 2  tablespoons olive oil
  • 1  teaspoon  finely chopped garlic
  • 16  jumbo shrimp, peeled and de-veined
  • 8  wooden skewers, soaked in water 1 hour

Directions

  1. Place first 6 ingredients in a small pan and reduce by half. Then, add cilantro and season with salt and pepper.
  2. For the shrimp, mix garlic and oil together. Skewer each shrimp from top to tail (shrimp will be straight), and brush both sides with oil mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat grill or grill pan. Grill shrimp on a hot grill, 2 minutes per side. Brush with orange-Chardonnay Mojo glaze.
